- View, add, edit and archive third parties
- Export data
- Edit custom attributes

The majority of permissions are accessed from Platform Settings > Permissions:
New event log entries
New event log entries have been added which record:
- Bulk upload events
- When and which users update actions and automations
- When and which users create, update and delete user views
- Updates to the primary contact in a third party
Bulk upload improvements
The bulk upload template has been improved by adding the custom attribute names, and allowing associates to be uploaded via a separate tab. In addition the system owner can be defined at the point of upload by adding their details into the relevant column in the upload template.
UBO Improvements

Release version 3.8.0
Released February 2024
Workflow-based Emailing
A new email system has been introduced in EB360 3.8. It is configured as part of the Automation and Action (Workflow) feature, and offers more flexibility than the previous notification schemes.
Note: Although you can create, edit and delete email templates for the new system, you cannot configure how and when emails are sent. This functionality is currently restricted to Ethixbase360 staff. If you would like to use the new email system, or discuss the possible benefits to your organisation, please contact the Support team at Ethixbase360.
Advantages of the new email framework include the ability to:
- Send role-based notifications.
- Send a wider variety of data in the subject and body of emails. For example, the new system can send third party details and status, answers from due diligence questionnaires, and data from IDD and IDD+ reports.
- Trigger sending of emails in a more nuanced way, when specific conditions are met. For example, if an answer to a DDQ question raises a concern, this can trigger an email to the main contact at the third party, with follow-up questions.
UBO improvements
Updates to the Ultimate Beneficial Owner (UBO) features mean that you can now:
- Run IDD and IDD+ screening on UBOs.
- View UBO screening results from the Third Party page and the Managed Third party list.
- Filter the Managed Third Party view to include or exclude screened UBOs.
- Sort the Managed Third party list according to the level of risk found for the UBO.
- Create custom user views that display all your screened UBOs.
- Visualise your UBO data as a chart. For example:
Modern Slavery Questionnaire (MSQv4)
Version 4 of the Anti Modern Slavery Questionnaire is now available on the EB360 platform. This was produced in collaboration with Norton Rose Fulbright. Updates to the questionnaire include:

- Updates to the high-risk products list, industry risk scores, and jurisdiction risk scores.
- More detailed and configurable scoring and reporting, including the ability to capture answers from questionnaires and display them on dashboards, list views and the Third Party Profile.

This is available as setup, as columns in the Managed Third party lists, via import and export, in workflow actions, and list filters.
How can I setup and use Custom attributes in EB360
Access DDQs and IDD/IDD+ in workflow without waiting for an event
Effective from version 3.5 EB360 designers ofd workflow can now get a handle on a Third parties IDD / IDD+ and DDQ results without needing an Automation that provides it. This is essential when bringing together a diverse set of of data on a third party to invoke further workflow. You can read more about this here.
Action clone and comments
In this version of EB360 we have added a Clone function to the Action list allowing you to clone existing actions. This is useful for many reasons, but also allows you to backup critical actions that you want to modify and have a roll back position.
We have also added comments to action steps, so designers can help others understand their configurations.
You can read more about this here
System Owner now editable in the platform
The System Owner can now be edited in the platform. This is the user who will receive default notifications from the platform such as when a DDQ has been completed.
Export IDD/IDD+ risks
It is now possible to export all the risks that have been found in both IDD and IDD+ reports for all of your third parties. Simply select Export from the Manage Third Parties page and there will be a new tab “Due Diligence Alerts” where all risks identified as part of an IDD or IDD+ can be found.
Premium Corporate Data - On Going Monitoring
On going monitoring is now available for Premium Corporate Data clients. For any TP where PCD has been added they will be registered for OGM for 1 year. Any changes that occur to the corporate record will be received overnight and each client will see the change within the event log. This will ensure that your Premium Corporate Data section always reflects the latest information relating to your Third Party. Notifications can be set up using the existing notification system to alert users of when these events have occurred.
Following on from this, in a future release, a section will be added on the PCD page which details the change and shows the old data, vs the new data.
ESG explore - Highlight no URL included in the assessment.
ESG Explore reports have now been updated to include a banner highlighting when a ESG Explore report has been run against a Third Party which did not include a URL at the time it was run. Not including a URL at the time will result in a resilience strength of None so this is now highlighted against the report version where this was the case.
Release version 3.4.0
Release Date: May 2023
Configurable Roles and Permissions
From version 3.4 of EB360 Admin users can now define their own roles and permissions via the platform settings. within this version these can be used to restrict which roles can update which custom attributes and which Manual, Act on all and Act on selected automations can be run.
Users can be assigned to multiple roles, so allowing granular control over this access.
Editing custom attributes can be restricted by role
Effective from this version administrators can limit which roles can edit which custom attributes. See here for more details. Among other benefits this can be used to limit who can update Rating attributes such as final decision type settings.
Restrict who can order selected products (Subscription feature)
In combination with Ethixbase support you can now restrict which roles can order which products within the platform, and so limit access to selected items to the people within your organisation who are authorised to order them.
Question answers available within the action framework (Subscription feature)
You can now setup automations conditions to detect when a Due Diligence Questionnaire (DDQ) changes from one state to another and then trigger actions. The actions can take the DDQ and use its state and answers within the Action framework.
This will allow you to make automated actions based on answers provided by suppliers, or update custom attribute based on the same answers. A side effect is also the ability to score questionnaires with your own custom scoring models.
Act on all and Act on Selected Automation conditions (Subscription feature)
We have added two new Automation conditions, for :
-
Act on Selected, this allow users to select Managed third parties in the third party list and run the same action on all of them
- Act on all, via the Managed Third party list a user can run the same action on all third parties in their platform.
An example of this new functionality is shown below.

Automations can now be triggered when an IDD or IDD+ is returned or remediated.
-
Automations can be triggered when a custom attribute changes value on a third party.
-
IDD and IDD+ is now available to be queried within an action function if it is passed in as expected data. This includes access to the remediated and unremediated risk codes.
-
TRIGGER step, now available which allows you to trigger other actions within an action, for example order an IDD or IDD+, or send out a questionnaire

END step, a new step type that if hit will end further processing of the action function. This is useful for checking pre conditions that should be true, or stopping unnessaccary processing.
- Contains and Not Contains, being available on string comparisons in IF / THEN / ELSE logic.
Exposing the risk codes found in the IDD and IDD+ results also allows you to take different action based on the specific alerts located, for example sending out an anti money laundering questionnaire if there were specific proven charges.
Premium Corporate Data view in the TP Details
There is a new tab in the Third Party details that, if the third party has been onboarded using Premium Corporate data shows the details of that record.

Release version 3.2.0
Release Date: February 2023
Workflow Automations (Subscription Feature)
EB360 (versions 3.2 and above) allows users to setup automations within their platform to perform specific Actions based on selected conditions. For example triggering a Perceived Risk Indicator (PRI) when a new third party is onboarded.
The platform can have any many automations as required. Each Automation has two conceptual components
-
A Condition, that it is looking for in the platform that when true will run the actions. I.E. a Third party custom attribute may change value, a third party might onboard, or a Due Diligence questionnaire may get completed and so on.
- 1 to many Actions that will TRIGGER as a result of the condition being true, Once the condition has been detected the specified actions will run using the expected data from the Automation, generally this will be the third party plus a couple of other bits of metadata.
The available actions are defined using the Action framework.
An example of the automation screen is shown here.
Note that Automations are available via subscription on top of the platform annual cost.
