EB360 comes equipped with a number of predefined dashboards within the Analytics section of the tool, and you can also create your own personalised dashboards.
To add your own dashboard use the '+' button in the upper right hand corner of the platform and select View.
From the resultant dialog select Dashboard. You will get the the Dialog below.
How the dashboard is laid out
Before getting into adding content to your dashboard it is important to understand how the dashboard is laid out. The dashboard is laid out in columns, of which there can be 1,2,3 or 4. Examples are shown below.
When the selected widgets are laid out the platform will iterate over the widgets from first to last and add them to the dashboard. one by one. They are added from left to right, once a row is full the layout will drop down to the next row to add the next widget, and so on until all the widgets are added.
Each widget has a column span setting. This setting determines how many columns the widget should be placed over. For example in the diagram below Widget 5 is configured with a 2 column span. while the first 3 widgets all have a column span of 1.
Selecting the widgets
On the configuration screen for the user definable dashboards you can choose the widgets you want to be on your dashboard. The list of available widgets is in the left hand list and is broken down by product areas / available actions. To add a widget, drag and drop it into the right hand list. Having added it you can also set its column span (see above for what this setting does).
Within the list you can also drag and drop to reorder them. The order is important as they are laid out on the dashboard in the order they appear on the list. So if you want to move a widget further down in the displayed dashboard it needs to be lower down in the list on the configuration screen.
You can always come back to the dashboard configuration by clicking the view settings button in the upper right of the dashboard and selecting 'Edit Settings'.
