Managing Notification Schemes

This page describes how to: 

• Access your notification schemes 
• Edit a notification scheme
• Activate or deactivate a notification scheme
• Delete a notification scheme

Note: You must have EB360 administrator permissions to perform any of these tasks.

To access your notification schemes 

1. In the left-hand navigation pane, go to Platform Settings.
2. Select Notification Schemes to view a list of all your notification schemes, and who they will notify.

To edit a notification scheme:

You can edit any properties of a notification scheme, including its name, recipients and the conditions that trigger it to send emails.

1. In the left-hand navigation pane, go to Platform Settings > Notification Schemes.
2. The 'Notification Settings' page is displayed, listing all notification schemes that are present on your platform.
3. Locate the notification scheme that you want to edit. In the Actions column, click and select Edit:
   
   
   
4. In the Edit dialog, make any changes required and then click Update. 

To activate or deactivate a notification scheme: 

Notification schemes can be active or inactive. By default, notification schemes are active when they are first created. You may wish to deactivate a notification scheme if it is not required temporarily, or if you are testing changes on your platform. Inactive schemes will not fire off an email even if a type and tag set matches. 

1. In the left-hand navigation pane, go to Platform Settings > Notification Schemes.
2. The 'Notification Settings' page is displayed, listing all notification schemes that are present on your platform.
3. Locate the notification scheme that you want to activate or deactivate. In the Actions column, click and select Activate or Deactivate. For example:
   
   
4. At the prompt, click Save to confirm your changes.

To delete a notification scheme:

If a notification scheme is no longer needed, you can delete it permanently. However, before deleting a notification scheme, it might be worth considering editing and repurposing it.

To delete a notification scheme:

1. In the left-hand navigation pane, go to Platform Settings > Notification Schemes.
2. The 'Notification Settings' page is displayed, listing all notification schemes that are present on your platform.
3. Locate the notification scheme that you want to delete. In the Actions column, click and  select Delete.
4. Click Delete again at the prompt, to confirm your decision. The notification scheme is permanently deleted.
