This page describes how to onboard a single third party into your EB360 platform. The third party can be a company or an individual.
If you want to onboard multiple third parties at once, use the bulk upload process.
To onboard a single third party:
- In the top right-hand corner of your EB360 platform, click Add new third party:
- In the 'Create New Third Party' dialog, select Single:
- The 'Create Third Party' page is displayed:
- Provide the required and optional data:
| Field | Mandatory / Optional | Information |
|
Entity legal name |
Mandatory |
Enter the full name as accurately as possible. For companies, include corporate suffixes like LTD or PLC. This improves verification search results if you go on to use corporate data verification (step 6 below), or if your platform is set up for auto-verification. |
|
Registered in |
Mandatory |
For companies, this is the jurisdiction the company is based in. For individuals, this is nationality (not country of residence, if these differ). |
|
Date of Birth |
Optional |
For individuals only: If known provide the date of birth for the individual to improve the due diligence matches that come back during screening. |
|
Address |
Optional |
Add at least part of the address to improve verification search results. If the verification search finds a match for your third party, then any remaining address details will be auto-populated when you select the match. |
|
Registration Number |
Optional |
For companies only: If your third party has a company registration number, then adding this will improve the verification search. Conversely, if you do not know the registration number, it can sometimes be auto-populated by running the verification search and selecting the matching company. |
|
Website URL |
Optional |
For companies only: If you intend to use APRI products, you must enter the URL for the company. Note that this must be the base URL for the site, not a sub page. For example:
|
Note: Additional custom fields may be available, depending on how your platform has been configured.
- If you are onboarding a company, you have the option to verify its details against corporate registration databases. This can help you confirm that you are onboarding the correct legally registered entity. There are 2 verification services, and your EB360 platform will be configured to use one or the other of them:
Your platform may also be set up to auto-verify third party details using the Freemium service.
You can run screening and due diligence services (e.g. IDD or IDD+) against third parties whether you use verification or not.
- Add any Associates that you want to connect to the third party.
- Depending on how your platform is configured, due diligence services may be ordered automatically as part of the onboarding process. If you have the necessary permissions, you can also select and order services manually from the Available actions pane:
- Once you are happy with the third party details and services, click Submit to complete the onboarding process.
