Occasionally, a computer will recall old details instead of new ones, and will not allow the user to log-in.
Our advice in this situation is to try using either another browser or clear the cache and cookies of your current session, restart the browser and try again. We recommend using Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge. For detailed instructions on how to do this please see below.
If clearing the cache and cookies still doesn't solve the problem, please reach out to support@ethixbase.com with your IP address and our technical team will investigate further.
Clearing your browser cache
A "Hard Refresh" may resolve most issues. To do so press and hold the CTRL key and then press F5. If this does not resolve your issue, you may need to clear the browser cache fully.
The keyboard shortcut to open the clear browser cache option is CTRL + SHIFT + DELETE. If you are not comfortable with keyboard shortcuts or have a non-standard keyboard layout, please see further below for detailed browser specific instructions.
In the top right of your browser window there will be three dots. For Google Chrome these should be vertical, for Microsoft Edge they will be horizontal.
Click the three dots to open a drop-down menu and find the Settings option and click it. The navigate as below to find the appropriate setting to clear your browser cache.
Microsoft Edge: Privacy, search and services > Clear browsing data > Choose what to clear
Google Chrome: Privacy and security > Clear browsing data
Select the appropriate time range and select Clear Now or Clear Data. Please note that this will sign you out of most sites.
We would recommend you then close any open windows and tabs and restart your browser application.
